Services Offered

The relationship between the client and therapist, along with self-awareness, insight and self-reflection facilitates and opens the door for the possibility of change.

Are you struggling with symptoms of anxiety or depression? Are you having difficulty coping after a divorce or a significant relationship has ended? Individual mental health therapy can help you process and work through your problems or issues, improve symptoms and increase functioning. I believe teaching clients effective skills is important in helping clients manage symptoms and maintain positive changes.

Some of the relational problem areas I help couples navigate include affairs or betrayals and increasing positive interactions and improving communication. I also help couples learn how to “fight fair,” manage conflict, reconnect emotionally and improve physical and sexual intimacy. I am a Level 2 Trained Gottman Method Couples Therapist.

Our relationships or quality of our relationships can greatly affect our emotional health and well-being. If you are a parent who is struggling with a problem or conflict with your child or you have a family member who has a chronic medical issue which has impacted you and your family, family therapy can help reduce familial conflict as well as strengthen and improve relationships and family functioning.

I provide HIPPA compliant teletherapy services for individuals and couples in South Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska who are not able to come into the office for therapy. Teletherapy can be a great alternative as it allows you to take less time off of work and you can have access to therapy services from the convenience of your home or office. It can also be helpful for those who reside in areas where therapy services or specialists are not readily available.
